That’s the core question I’m asking myself as I step into the next chapter of my professional journey. After decades of building startups, leading open source movements, and driving platform innovation across networking, cloud, and edge AI, I find myself drawn to deeper challenges of significant societal impact. The next chapter of my journey centers on two areas I care deeply about: AI-powered life coaching for human flourishing, and next-generation infrastructure for GenAI that would help society realize AI's full potential.
Despite remarkable advances in comfort, connectivity, and convenience, our world faces a quiet crisis—one of disconnection, anxiety, and unfulfilled potential. I believe AI can help address this. But not through more distraction or automation—instead, by becoming a source of clarity, presence, and personal growth.
My next venture is focused on building a domain-specific platform for life coaching, powered by foundational models and designed to host a suite of personalized coaching applications. These apps will blend behavioral science, lived wisdom, and advanced AI to support individuals in finding meaning, reducing stress, strengthening relationships, and living more fulfilled lives.
The platform will initially serve the fast-growing “Spiritual But Not Religious” (SBNR) population—before expanding to reach communities across diverse faiths and philosophies. The mission is to reimagine the ancient practice of inner guidance using the most advanced tools of our time.
I’m deeply inspired by Gloo—their vision, mission, and how they support institutions and individuals in the Christian faith community. I hope Gloo will broaden its scope to include other major faith traditions as well as the growing SBNR population. If not, I would love to help build a parallel platform that brings this kind of support to the rest of society.
If you’re passionate about this space—whether as a technologist, content creator, community builder, or investor—I’d love to connect.

Let’s build a wiser world together.
We are at the dawn of a Generative AI revolution that is beginning to reshape every part of society — from how we create and learn to how we work, heal, and govern.
The potential is vast and largely untapped, but delivering on this promise requires a radical rethinking of the computing and networking infrastructure that powers AI.
Today’s AI infrastructure is too expensive, too power-hungry, and too centralized.
Industry leaders already spend billions of dollars annually on training and inference workloads — and the energy consumption is staggering.
If we attempt to scale today’s architecture to serve every AI use case and user, the cost and carbon footprint will be unsustainable.
We need breakthroughs that deliver 10x–100x improvements in efficiency, power, and cost.
This challenge represents a massive opportunity for innovators who’ve lived through past paradigm shifts — from general-purpose computing and cloud infrastructure to programmable networks and custom silicon.
I am now turning my attention to this challenge: helping build the next-generation AI infrastructure stack, spanning compute, memory, interconnect, networking, and distributed systems.
Disaggregated architectures – decoupling memory, storage, and compute across the data center.
Chiplet-based systems – optical or advanced interconnects between accelerators and memory.
Domain-specific accelerators – tuned for training, inference, or on-device foundation models.
Edge-to-cloud orchestration – reducing latency and cost by bringing AI closer to users.
AI-optimized networking fabrics – tailored to traffic patterns and fine-grained scheduling.
Open-source, sovereign infrastructure stacks – democratizing AI while preserving governance.
This is not just a technical journey — it is a strategic and ethical imperative. If we want AI to serve all of humanity, we must make it more accessible, sustainable, and adaptable.
I’m excited to join and collaborate with those working across academia, industry, and government pursuing this vision and building technologies and solutions. If you are working in these areas, I would love to connect with you.
